I’ve become a committed healer because I have been where you are. Whether it was an ongoing injury linked with a stress trigger, chronic fatigue and endocrine/hormone imbalance or family and ancestral trauma. I was on a first name basis with all of these. I did every diet, I worked with chiropractors, doctors, and naturopaths. One or two of them were good, looking at my body as a holistic whole. But not one of them practiced a modicum of embodiment to look directly at THIS trauma, MY individual system, and work directly with it.
It's like they had matched being impersonal with being professional. And while my healing is non-invasive, Its core tenant is to treat every body, every part of that body, every injury as a part with needs and a desire for balance and freedom. Just because your body is an interconnected holistic system, doesn't make it a formulaic body. There's too much psychology, family history, environmental subjectivity, and emotional backlash to treat injuries like one size fits all. I talk to the individual issues happening right now, explain why they aren’t a good tool anymore, and with gratitude, take them out or bring them back to a rhythmic contraction and expansion.
Embodying self tethers me back to who I am. Embodying while working on your system, helps it remember who it is; How to melt, unwind and come back into harmonious cohesion with all the working parts around it. I bring a past injury and it's story into the living, breathing present and free it the way you would release a living organism from its cage, back into nature.
I do what I do because it matters. Addressing our microcosm with sympathy and focused understanding, heals the macro too. I want a global human society based in listening, support, & health, able to harmonize and give back to the natural world that is our lifeblood. So this is what I offer.
